Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated professional to handle the installation, service, repair, and preventative maintenance of a wide variety of access and loading dock equipment.

Starting Pay – $20+ per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
As a Service Technician, you will be dispatched to industrial, commercial, and warehouse buildings to perform crucial onsite work, ensuring equipment functions reliably and safely. Your responsibilities include:
- Installation: Installing new doors, dock equipment, and related systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Service & Repair: Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on various types of equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize unexpected downtime.
- General Plant Equipment: Assisting with the maintenance and repair of general plant equipment as needed or requested by the customer.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical and/or electrical aptitude is essential.
- Experience with industrial doors (overhead, roll-up, sectional) and/or loading dock equipment (levelers, restraints) is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with clients onsite.
- Commitment to working safely and following all company and site safety protocols.
