Position – Packaging

Job Location – Appleton, WI

Starting Date – ASAP

Employment Term – Temp to hire

Employment Type – Full time

Work Hours (Shift) –  1st shift

Starting Pay – $17 per hour

Required Experience – Prior manufacturing experience is helpful

As a Food Packager, you will be responsible for the final steps of preparing our products for distribution, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assembly Line Packing: Accurately sort, count, and place food items into appropriate containers, bags, or boxes on the production line.
• Quality Control: Visually inspect products for defects or quality issues and remove non-conforming items.
• Sealing and Labeling: Properly seal packages and apply correct weight, product information, and shipping labels.
• Preparation for Shipment: Stack and prepare packed boxes on pallets, using hand carts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere strictly to all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety regulations, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications 

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions, including frequent bending, lifting (up to 30-40 lbs), and reaching.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working efficiently and maintaining the pace of a production line.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy for counting, labeling, and quality inspection.
• Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Basic Skills: Literacy and basic math skills to read labels and follow instructions.
• Prior experience in a food production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is a plus!
