POSITION – Maintenance Technician – Paper Converting
JOB LOCATION – Oconto, WI and Clintinville=, WI
STARTING DATE – ASAP
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp – to – Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Days/Nights – 12 Hours
STARTING PAY – Based on Experience – $18-$26+

REQUIRED EDUCATION – HSD/Equivalent or relevant secondary degree
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 3(+) years
Background Profile:
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Trouble-shoot equipment
- Repair equipment
- Perform changeovers on various paper converting equipment
- Perform interior/exterior facility maintenance
- Understanding of GMP Codes
- Understanding of safety equipment/systems
- Ability to use various hand/power tools
- Effective communication skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Works well within a team environment or independently
- Complete other duties as assigned
About the Role
As a Level 3 Maintenance Technician, you'll handle advanced troubleshooting, lead projects, and perform complex electrical and mechanical upgrades to equipment across the facility. You'll work independently, mentor junior techs, and drive improvements on a wide range of systems including PLCs, HMIs, and motion control networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment upgrades
- Lead projects from initiation to completion
- Execute product changeovers and machine setups
- Assist with maintenance tracking systems and documentation
- Train and support lower-level technicians
- Ensure safety and food-grade compliance at all times
