Employment Term – Direct Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) –1st, 6 A.M-4P.M, Monday-Thursday
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $29-$30/hr

Required Education –2 year Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechanic Technician
Required Experience – 2+ years of experience as General Machine Repairer or Maintenance Technician


Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining building systems and manufacturing equipment through repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. This role supports production efficiency, equipment reliability, and workplace safety.


Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair work on building systems and production equipment, including machine repairs, welding, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

  • Drive company trucks, forklifts, and carts as required.

  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and facilities.

  • Order repair parts and services using the ERP system.

  • Utilize an internet-based CMMS to document work orders and preventative maintenance activities.

  • Suggest changes to working conditions or equipment usage to improve department efficiency.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as General Machine Repairer or Maintenance Technician
  • 1+years of experience with programmable logic controllers
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills/knowledge

  • Ability to perform welding, plumbing, carpentry, and general electrical work.

  • Basic proficiency with MS Office and computerized maintenance systems.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and company vehicles safely.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
