Are you an Electrical Designer with a demonstrated history of implementing design and engineering processes? If you are looking to join a smaller, reputable, yet steadily growing company, where technical excellence, collaboration, accountability, and humility are at the core of the company's values, this opportunity is for you.  Our Green Bay client has a philosophy of "hire to retire" and are looking for an Electrical Designer to join their rapidly growing team. 

 

Key Qualities & Duties:

  • Creative Thinking

  • Able to own your own projects with little oversight but also feel comfortable enough to ask questions.

  • Must be fluid, adaptable, and open to change, as this is a fast paced and rapidly growing industry.

  • Communicate well with customers and other team members to complete project and design needs.

  • Develop conduit layouts, panel layouts, power supplied loading and watts loss panel heat calculations.

  • Lead design reviews with clients and develop detailed construction documentation and instructions. 

  • 3D CAD experience is a plus.

 

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Servo and VFD

  • NEC and 480 VAC Power Distribution 

  • I/O Systems and PLCs

  • AutoCAD Proficiency 

  • Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics

  • Travel up to 25 percent

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • 2 year degree in applicable engineering or electrical design field

  • 3-5 years+ of experience in paper/pulp or food/dairy industries to include packaging, material handling, custom automation, or converting equipment. 

  • Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering and design processes.

  • Preferred Experience: 2-5 years of experience in packaging, custom automation equipment, material handling, or converting equipment in the Pulp & Paper or Food & Dairy Industry.
