Mechanical Designer

Are you interested in working for an international market leader? Do you have experience with assembly systems or machine and robot technology? Our customer is looking to hire a Mechanical Designer to create complete system designs.

Job Duties:

• Create 2D and 3D drawings.

• Diagnose and solve real or potential design problems.

• Implement catalog components into equipment designs.

• Interact with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers and customers.

• Maintain project schedules.

• Create Bills of Material.

Education and Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Design plus experience designing sheet metal assemblies.

• Familiar with basic piping helpful.

• Proficient with Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office products.

• Experience with PLM software (SAP, Oracle, etc) helpful.
