Engineering Manager - Electrical

DIRECT HIRE: $80-125k+

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Manager to oversee the management of the electrical shop, engineering team, and internal projects. This is a demanding leadership role that will likely be part of the Senior Management Team. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background but will not be responsible for the day-to-day programming or detailed engineering work. The position offers little to no travel and focuses primarily on overseeing operations and ensuring efficient project completion. OEM machine industry experience is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide leadership to the electrical shop and engineering team, ensuring effective performance and efficient project execution.

• Oversee internal projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

• Collaborate with senior management to align project goals with company strategy.

• Monitor the performance of the engineering team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

• Ensure that all engineering work aligns with customer requirements, quality standards, and project deadlines.

Basic Requirements:

• Engineering background, ideally with experience in electrical systems and engineering management.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and overseeing complex projects.

• OEM industry experience is essential.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

• No extensive travel required for this position.
  
  

Basic Requirements:

• Strong background in industrial electrical engineering, particularly with AB-Rockwell products.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings.

• Experience in managing projects to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

• AS degree required.

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years in custom equipment manufacturing.

• Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS Degree preferred, ideally Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of electrical engineering background with machine OEM experience required.
