Position Overview:

?The Production Assistant helps the team prepare, fabricate, assemble, and package composite partsunder direction of supervisor. The work involves cutting fiberglass, assembling materials into kits,cleaning, sanding, cutting, and some painting processes.

?An attention to detail is required for a majority of the parts fabrication, due to the high specificationrequirements of the completed components.

Key Responsibilities:

?Cut fabrics, core materials, and consumables as directed for the project.

?Record batch numbers of materials on forms.

?Clean inventory room and help organize.

?Clean and prepare tooling as directed.

?Assists ordering clerk with inventory system and ordering.

?Lay-up, fit and install fiber reinforcements and core materials as directed.

?Maintain housekeeping requirements within assigned area/s.

?Read, comprehend Job related documentation and detailed work instructions.

?Complete assigned tasks within production schedule timeline.

?High attention to detail and precision.

Requirements:

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

* Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.

* Work in a fast paced environment. 

* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

* Must be able to do physical work 

* Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team.
