Perform and document all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with City, Federal State and Local regulations governing the industrial wastewater treatment process, and storm water and sludge management. · Record meter and gauge readings and operational data. · Monitor all daily analytical parameters to ensure equipment is functioning properly and permit limits comply. · Perform installation and inspection of water lines and services. · Perform the installation, maintenance and repair of the physical plant and pump stations and all components. · Perform regular and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on all industrial wastewater plant equipment and machinery. · Ensure equipment is calibrated and has current certifications. · Responsible for chemical inventory for the industrial wastewater pretreatment. · Responsible for cleaning equipment, tanks, filter beds, other parts and machinery as needed. · Operate equipment to purify and clarify water for processing, disposal, and discharge. · Manage processed water solid waste. · On call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns at the industrial wastewater plant and pump stations. · Conduct the necessary weekend or as needed checks of the treatment plant. · Maintain open communications with the EHS Manager regarding the treatment process and pump stations operation and malfunctions, as well as make recommendations for repairs and improvements to these systems. · Conduct daily/weekly checks and maintain records. · Perform all work in conformance to Occupational Safety and Health Act regulations. · Perform all work in conformance to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations and Texas Commission On Environmental Quality. · Comply with Company SOPs and Policies. · Responsible to load the recycling trailer with material ready to be sent to the material recovery facility. · Assist with sorting, separating, and inspecting a variety of recycled materials by grade and type such as corrugated cardboard, plastics, aluminum, foil, mixed paper, banding, and glass among other materials. · Assist EHS with audits from third party and regulators: ISO, OSHA, EPA, TCEQ and City of Dallas among other regulators. · Assist EHS maintain and enhance current EHS programs for continuous improvement and sustainability. · Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
