Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Sidney, OH
Pay: $45/hr
About the job:
The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across the facility.
We’re looking for someone who:

Has a high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred

Brings 2–3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Can read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Demonstrates strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Understands and adheres to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout

Communicates clearly and documents work accurately

Has the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, climb, and perform hands-on mechanical work

Works well independently and as part of a team, and is open to overtime or weekend work when needed

(Preferred) Has experience with PSM programs, millwrighting, machining, pipefitting, or welding
What you’ll do:

Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions using appropriate tools and techniques

Repair or replace pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, and other mechanical components

Install and commission new equipment and machinery

Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS

Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, and support compliance with PSM requirements

Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to coordinate repairs and improve equipment reliability

Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members

Support development and execution of maintenance plans and preventive maintenance schedules

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

Perform additional maintenance duties as needed
