A custom metal fabrication shop specializing in precision-built metal products is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations. The company focuses on quality, reliability, and safety while producing complex fabricated components for a variety of industrial applications.
Pay
$20.00 per hour
Role Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment in a custom metal fabrication environment. The position requires hands-on experience with CNC machinery and PLC systems, along with the ability to perform both preventative and corrective maintenance. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some overtime and weekend work required. Candidates will also be required to participate in a follow-up interview with the shop’s hiring manager prior to hire.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a light industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience programming and repairing Allen Bradley PLCs
Ability to perform preventative and routine maintenance on CNC machines, including punch presses, press brakes, mills, and laser cutters
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Must be detail-oriented and safety-focused
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Willingness to sit for a follow-up interview with the hiring manager
