Responsibilities:
(Include, but not limited to)
§ Designs, characterizes, documents, and implements manufacturing process improvement initiatives
§ Leads lean manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, reduce cycle times, improve productivity, improve process reliability, and improve customer satisfaction with respect to on-time delivery and quality
§ Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies
§ Performs process capability analysis and implements process control procedures
§ Project management and research of new equipment and development
§ Supervise Technicians and support them as required
§ Monitor and maintain all preventative maintenance schedules/records
§ Manage the development and sign off on all samples in manufacturing – following our feasibility process
Project manager for all major changes in our process by department
§ Manage inventory levels and requisitions for all replacement Manufacturing equipment parts
§ Keep machines operational by coordinating maintenance and repair service with all technicians
§ Facilitate preventive maintenance
§ Ability to understand mechanical and electrical repairs as required
§ Monitor new product development and challenging part numbers
§ Ability to travel an average of 10% to 20% - project requirements may dictate higher intervals
§ Participate in ISO 9001:2015 and our IATF 16949 approval process
