We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machinery, programming, and precision measurement techniques. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict specifications. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to fabricate parts efficiently and accurately.
Duties
Operate CNC machines, including milling machines, to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining requirements.
Program CNC machines for optimal performance and efficiency.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to ensure product quality.
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Fabricate parts using various power tools and techniques while adhering to safety protocols.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve production processes and reduce waste.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production workflows.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and programming software.
Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and creating machining instructions.
Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
Experience with lean manufacturing practices is preferred.
Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
