Senior Tax Accountant

This is a 12 month assignment with a world-leading connected health company. This position is responsible for both domestic and international tax compliance and provision tasks. Work closely with management to ensure accuracy and completeness in highly visible work products.



Responsibilities and Accountabilities


Prepare U.S. and international federal and state income tax returns including research credit, manufacturing deduction, earnings and profits, foreign tax credit, equity roll-forwards, and international disclosures

Prepare and maintain state apportionment and allocation workpapers

Prepare and maintain federal and state extension and estimated payment calculations

Maintain tax-based fixed asset ledgers using SAGE software

Prepare stock compensation tax workpapers

Investigate and resolve inquiries from federal and state taxing authorities

Prepare quarter-end tax provision calculations

Perform tax research and prepare resulting documentation

Assist with SOX 404 (internal audit) compliance


Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university (Accounting/Finance) required; Master’s Degree and CPA Preferred

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a "Big 4" or large corporation

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Must have a strong understanding of corporate financial statements

Must have a minimum of three years’ experience preparing consolidated federal and state income tax returns including Form 5471 and separate state tax returns
