• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Vizio) with an emphasis on Visio
• Developing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Identify and document local functional business requirements.
• Identify and capture key process changes initiated by the new ERP platform.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail oriented
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules, particularly those related to Finance, Reporting, Supply Chain, Maintenance & Inventory, and HCM.
• Business Analysis or Project Management Professional certification preferred.
Job Description
The Business Analyst is responsible for capturing and documenting the functional business processes across key areas impacted by a new ERP system roll-out. The Business Analyst will help ensure both current and future state, global and local business processes are clearly documented, communicated, and validated. The Business Analyst works closely with global processes and local functional business leads to identify, capture, document, and validate current and future state high impact local business processes, as well document and identify integration points between global and local business processes.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Document Future State Business Processes: Develop comprehensive global and local business process maps that align with new system requirements, ensuring clear representation of future state process flows.
• Coordinate Requirements Gathering: Lead the effort to obtain functional business requirements by engaging with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts. Utilize effective elicitation techniques to capture the needs related to business functions and workstreams impacted by the Oracle ERP framework.
• Create User Requirements Documentation: Produce detailed documentation of user requirements and collaborate with the development team to define both functional and non-functional specifications, ensuring all technical aspects are clearly outlined.
• Facilitate System Enhancements: Manage the process for system enhancement requests, coordinating with the product owner and stakeholders to establish and maintain an enhancement release schedule.
• Provide Status Reporting: Deliver regular updates on progress and status to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and keeping all parties informed of developments and any potential issues.
